NAWBO Membership
A cohesive community of women business owners sharing best practices and support for each other
At the national level, NAWBO was incorporated in 1974 and touts a membership of more than 5,000 members and 60 chapters across the country. Here in California, we have 11 chapters and have formed a consortium called NAWBO California that provides activities and resources to support the local chapters and represents the issues and interests of more than 1.3 million women business owners in the state.
The National Board of Directors of the National Association of Women Business Owners establishes member classes for the organization that include, Premier Members, Introductory Members, Supporting Members, Student Members and Retired Members.
Additionally, NAWBO Ventura County has established an exclusive Elite Member sponsorship for those local members who would like to provide additional support for our local chapter while gaining added exposure for their business.
