Monthly Meetings – We gather 8-9 times during the year for networking with other women business owners and to participate in an educational presentation/training delivered by speakers or a panel of experts. Meetings vary between breakfast, lunch, and dinner and are held at venues throughout the county, typically on the fourth Tuesday. These excellent presentations cover a wide variety of topics related to women entrepreneurship and business ownership. Non-member guests are welcome to attend twice before being asked to join.

BRAVA Awards – Our annual signature event spotlights women with vision and perseverance who create a bright future for women business owners and for new women-led business ventures. This highly anticipated annual event attracts 200-300 local dignitaries, business owners, executives and leaders of non-profit organizations. Nominations are submitted for outstanding women in Ventura County for various award categories. There are also opportunities to promote your business or to congratulate award winners through sponsorships, program advertising and more.
Member Mixers – Usually held at one of our Member’s business locations these fun and informal mixers offer members and guests a chance to meet and greet and get to know each other better. Bring your friends to share in the fun networking. Mixers are planned at various times throughout the year. Want to host a mixer, speak to any board member at your next dinner meeting!

NAWBO Meeting and Cancellation Policy
Effective July 2019
- Meeting pricing varies based on breakfast, lunch or dinner service. Please refer to the individual meeting for specific pricing.
- There are discounted prices available for Premier/Supporting Members. If you are uncertain of your membership status please contact Membership@NAWBOVC.org.
- Members of other NAWBO chapters may register for a meeting at the Introductory Member price. All other guests must register at the non-member rate.
- Speakers may bring one guest free of charge. Additional Speaker guests must register at the non-member rate.
- Panelists are provided one meeting ticket free of charge and may email contact@nawbovc.org to secure their ticket.
Cancellation Policy: Members and/or guests who cancel their registration prior to the Early Bird deadline may request a full refund, or may transfer their registration payment to the next month’s dinner meeting. Transferred registrations that are cancelled before that month’s Early Bird deadline will be refunded. No refunds or transfers will be given if cancellation request is after the Early Bird deadline. In the absence of an Early Bird deadline tickets must be cancelled four (4) days prior to event.
