Dedicating herself to her civil engineering and land surveying firm for over 30 years, Marta Alvarez, President of YCE, Inc. - Engineers & Surveyors, has triumphed her field while giving back to her community. She has been recognized internationally through the American Society of Civil Engineers by winning a premier event of a documentary called, "Dream Big." She shared the event with over 400 students, teachers and community members in Ventura County. Marta awarded two considerable scholarships which she announced at the premier. Both winners were female students pursuing degrees in engineering and agriculture. Marta also won "Innovator of the Year" through NAWBO-VC in 2017. While dominating the business world, she also takes on the life of an adrenaline junkie in her spare time.
